In 2024, I partnered with Anna Dorsey of Ironwood to create the official soundtrack for Legends of Andolin. I approached her with the goal of producing an epic original score for my 18th-century inspired fantasy adventure novels.
Using my favorite movie soundtracks as a guide, I provided clips from Poldark, Pirates of the Caribbean, and The Last of the Mohicans for inspiration. Anna used these to create four new pieces of music featuring fiddles and ethereal vocals. To fit the setting perfectly, the tracks even include lyrics in Old Andolinian, the language of the legendary empire found in the novels.
This soundtrack was designed to accompany the audiobooks and serve as background music to enhance your reading experience. Its launch celebrated two major events: the release of the audiobooks and the publication of the second edition of Adella of the Campos, the first novel in the series.
